What is gained and what is lost when parts of large lecture courses are moved online? ZOLE and CTL Forum: Hybrid vs. Traditional Lecture Format in Introductory Microeconomics (Part 2 of 3)
From Baruch DML on July 9th, 2014
Economics Professor Ted Joyce, who oversees the Zicklin Online Learning and Evaluation project, presents results from a randomized field experiment to explore the implications of hybridizing Economics 1001, a required, large lecture course in the Zicklin School of Business. Luke Waltzer from the Center for Teaching and Learning facilitates a discussion of the implications of Prof. Joyce's findings for the broader hybridization efforts emerging at Baruch.
