"Dr. Jeffrey Peck, Dean of the Weissman School of Arts & Sciences at Baruch College leads a live onstage interview with theater legend Theodore Bikel about his life and career, beginning with the role of Tevye the Milkman in Broadway’s Fiddler on the Roof, and spanning more than 40 years to his current star role in the New York premiere of the National Yiddish Theater production of Sholom Aleichem: Laughter through Tears about the pioneering 19th-century author Sholom Aleichem at Baruch Performing Arts Center.
John Malatesta, Managing Director, Baruch Performing Arts Center, introduces the event. The program is presented by the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences and Baruch Performing Arts Center, in cooperation with the National Yiddish Theater - Folksbiene.
