The City University of New York celebrates the 40th anniversary of its SEEK (Search for Education, Elevation and Knowledge) program - a model and a prototype for Higher Education Opportunity Programs across the country.
Professors, SEEK counselors, administrators, former SEEK students discuss the SEEK Program, its mission, and the unique educational opportunity SEEK offers to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. The panelists include:
Dr. Angela Anselmo, SEEK Director, Baruch College;
Dr. Frances Geteles, SEEK Counselor, CCNY, 1966-1990;
Louis Reyes, CCNY Student Leaders, Class of 1964;
Dr. Arthur Lewin, Professor of Black Studies, Baruch College;
Dr. Carol Smith, SEEK Counselor, Baruch College.
