This sixth annual meeting of leaders in business and education sponsored by the Bernard L. Schwartz Communication Institute provides a unique, interactive venue for educators and business professionals to engage in a dialogue on the means of gauging success in oral and written communication in academic and business settings.
Moderated by Mikhail Gershovich, Director of the Bernard L. Schwartz Communication Institute, the program begins with a welcoming address by Dr. John A. Elliott, Dean of Baruch's Zicklin School of Business, and an opening keynote by Steven Kerr, Managing Director and Chief Learning Officer, Goldman Sachs. Moderated by Scott Kirsner (Contributing Writer, Wired and Fast Company, and contributor to Newsweek, Salon, and the New York Times), the first round-table discussion begins at 11:00am and the second at 2:30pm, following a lunchtime keynote by Judith Summerfield, Dean for Undergraduate Education, the City University of New York. Herbert R. Brinberg, Chair of Business Advisory Council, Bernard L. Schwartz Communication Institute makes the closing remarks.
The event takes place April 28, 2006 at the 14th Floor Conference Center, Baruch College.
