SmartPitch Challenge 2013 Kickoff

This event is the 11th Annual SmartPitch Challenge competition. As a participant, you will get access a chance to develop your business concept as part of an entrepreneurship community of students, entrepreneurs, private and public sector mentors, and experts, and gain access to resources, peer camaraderie and mentorship. In addition, you will be informed about a variety of resources with regards to entrepreneurship, paid internships and job offerings at start-ups. The Kickoff event is held at Baruch College with the speaker Ron J. Williams, CEO at Knodes, and his topic of presentation is "The Dangers of Designing for the Digital 1%." The panelists include Rolando Franco, Executive IT and Client Technical Advisor in IBM, Tuan Pham, Director of Silicon Valley Bank, Alon Hillel-Tuch, Co-founder and CFO of RocketHub Inc., and Marisol del Valle, Founder of Iocama.
