This is the second seminar of the Corporate Governance Evening Seminar Series sponsored by the Robert Zicklin Center for Corporate Integrity.
The session addresses the current call for increased shareholder power. The panel members discuss shareholder activism from the perspective of directors, managers and shareholders themselves, and consider proposed changes in the law of corporate governance that would give shareholders greater influence in corporate decision making.
Panelists include: Michael Barry, Esq., Partner, Grant and Eisenhofer; David J. Brail, Chief Operating Officer, Para Advisors, Inc.; Jill Fisch, T.J. Maloney Professor of Business Law, Fordham Law School; and April Klein, Professor, Stern School of Business, New York University. The panel is moderated by David Rosenberg, Professor, Law Department, Baruch College.
