The Robert Zicklin Center for Corporate Integrity presents a seminar titled "Risk Assessment Standards and Current Auditing Issues". The focus of the seminar is on the new Statements on Auditing Standards (SASs), collectively referred to as the Risk Assessment Standards, approved by the Auditing Standards Board (ASB) of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
The event is introduced by Douglas Carmichael, CPA, the founding director of the Center for Corporate Integrity. Mary Ann White, Executive Editor at the Practitioners Publishing Company, gives an overview of the Risk Assessment Stanards in the context of auditing process. D. Keith Wilson, CPA, Associate Chief Auditor of the PCAOB (Public Company Accounting Oversight Board) speaks on the current developments at the PCAOB, including projects on risk assessment. A 40-minute panel discussion is held at the end.
