Steven J. Bell, Associate University Librarian for Research and Instructional Services, Temple University Libraries, delivers the keynote address of LACUNY 2007 Institute - "Technology with a Face: High Tech Meets High Touch". Mr. Bell shares ideas for regaining control over library technology with an exploration of how we might better identify and adopt the technologies that are right for our libraries, and do so in a way that respects our profession's core value of humanistic service delivery and workplace environments. The keynote is followed by a Q&A session.
Tess Tobin, co-chair of LACUNY 2007 Institute, gives the opening remarks. Arthur Downing, CIO/Assistant Vice President for Information Technology, and Chief Librarian, Baruch College, delivers the welcoming remarks. Lisa Finder, President of LACUNY, introduces the keynote speaker.
