The School of Public Affairs presents the Peter F. Vallone, Sr. Seminars in Government, 2007-2008 Lectures Series. This program provides a forum for leading policymakers, scholars, and influential personalities in city government to debate hot issues on politics and government.
This seminar focuses on the role of lobbying at the State and City levels and the fine line between providing information and promoting undue influence. Panelists include John Banks, Vice President of Government Relations for Con Edison; Suri Kasirer, President of Kasirer Consulting; Dick Dadey, Executive Director of Citizens Union; and Sid Davidoff, Partner at Davidoff, Malito & Hutcher.
The event is moderated by Peter F. Vallone, Sr., Former Speaker, New York City Council, with welcoming remarks from David Birdsell, Dean, School of Public Affairs and Baruch College President Kathleen M. Waldron.
