The Center for Nonprofit Strategy and Management of the School of Public Affairs and American Humanics Student Association co-sponsor the third Nonprofit Seminar of Fall 2007 "Human Resources in Nonprofit Organizations: An Entrepreneurial Approach to Staff and Personnel Issues."
Dr. Joel Levy, CEO of YAI/National Institute for People with Disabilities, moderates the event and starts with general comments on the topic. A panel of senior human resource specialists discusses various human resources issues in nonprofit organizations: the transformation of human resources into an executive leadership function; recruitment, retention and employee relations; and strategic human resources for smaller organizations, etc. Panelists include: Connie Zalk, Vice President, Human Resources, College Board; Angela Ottomanelli, Senior Human Resources Specialist, March of Dimes; and Arthur Webb, President and CEO of Village Care of New York. A Q&A session follows.
