Getting a Job: The Importance of Being Honest

Recruiters provide advice for job seekers in discussing the importance of honestly and accurately representing one's self during the job interview process.

Topics discussed include the importance of being prepared for interviews, example interview questions, what constitutes lying, appropriate and inappropriate behavior while interacting with recruiters, and tips for effective business correspondence with recruiters.

The event is moderated by Barbara Lambert, Deputy Director and Manager of Corporate Relations, Baruch College.

Panelists include David Feinerman, Human Resources Manager, formerly at Greenberg Traurig LLP and Eisner LLP; Josh Irushalmi, Director of Client Services at Resources Global Professionals, formerly at Ernst & Young; and Perren Wong, Executive Director at Morgan Stanley.

The event is hosted by Baruch College's Career Development Center and takes place April 4, 2006 as part of Ethics Week 2006.
