The New York Census Research Data Center (NYCRDC) provides academic researchers with a unique opportunity to access selected confidential Census microdata in physically secure facilities at Cornell University and Baruch College. The NYCRDC is a consortium of 15 universities and research institutions in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

This is the third workshop of a series sponsored by the NYCRDC. Panelists speak on how to use the NYCRDC data. Jeremy Wu, U.S. Census Bureau, gives a presentation on "The longitudinal Employer-Household Dynamics (LEHD) Program at the Census Bureau"; Lars Vilhuber, Cornell University and U.S. Census Bureau, presents "LEHD Restricted-use Data Products: Structure, Access"; Warren A. Brown, Cornell Institute for Social and Economic Research, and Research Director, NYCRDC, talks about how NYCRDC encourages people to use data; Rosemary Hyson, U.S. Census Bureau, and Baruch RDC Administrator, presents "Census Research Data Centers: NYCRDC Baruch."

Sanders Korenman, Executive Director of the NYCRDC and Professor at School of Public Affairs (SPA), gives the opening remarks.
