The Office of Services for Students with Disabilities presents a program on "Career Opportunities for Students with Disabilities (COSD)." Alan D. Muir, Executive Director of COSD at the University of Tennessee, delivers the keynote address. Other speakers include: Sarah Helm, Disability-Careers Office Coordinator, University of Tennessee; Sandra Kupprat, Career Counselor, Disability Services Office, Baruch College; Lana Smart, Vice President, Corporate Services, Abilities Inc.; and Charles A. Riley, II, Professor of Business Journalism, Baruch College, co-founder of We Media, and the former editor-in-chief of WE magazine.
On behalf of Baruch College, student Matthew Furleiter presents a plaque to Councilman G. Oliver Koppell for his leadership and support to CUNY students with disabilities. Barbara Sirois, Director of the Office of Services for Students with Disabilities, Baruch College, also presents a plaque to Eric Lugo, Department of College Advancement for his contribution to disability services.
The event takes place on April 24, 2007 at Baruch College Vertical Campus, Room 1-107, moderated by Barbara Sirois, Director of the Office of Services for Students with Disabilities, Baruch College.
