"Abe Briloff, Emanuel Saxe Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Accountancy, speakers at the Sigma Alpha Delta’s annual dinner held on November 30, 2006 at Baruch Vertical Campus, room 14-220.
Describing his arrival at Baruch from the obscurity of Williamsburg in 1934, he portrayed himself as the callow youth who aspired to nothing more than to become a “bookkeeper.” Baruch, in the person of his teacher, the great Emanuel L. Saxe, transformed his vision and his life.
“Memorable” and “inspiring,” were the words Sigma Alpha Delta President Ravi Gill used to describe Professor Briloff’s remarks."
